Ohm Sweet Ohm turns raw meter telemetry into household answers. A compatible meter and a Remne Technologies P1IB supply live readings. The application combines them with electricity-market prices and recent history.

The P1IB exposes kilowatts, kilowatt-hours, and phase readings, which do not answer the questions a household has: what is my home costing me now, what caused that spike, how much have I spent today, is this unusual. Ohm Sweet Ohm connects the measurements to prices and history so the answer is visible in seconds.
Meter readings and the application stay on the user's machine. There is no hosted version.
Spot price is shown excluding tax, grid fee, and fixed charges, and the page says so. The tariff can be entered in Settings to include them.
Ohm Sweet Ohm is a MacOS application, launching soon on the Apple App Store. It connects to a real P1IB. It was formerly named Electric Meter Company.
